During your eye exam at Gordon Wong Eye Designs & Optometry in La Jolla, one of our eye doctors will perform a comprehensive exam that will diagnose any of these listed conditions or eye problems.

What to Expect during Your Eye Exam

Your eye exam will include chart readings to test your vision. Beyond vision tests, one of our doctors will use high-powered lenses to examine the structure of your eyes. Additional tests will measure eye pressure and ocular motility (eye mobility), among other eye functions.

We welcome patients to come with questions they may have. Bringing a list of eye symptoms that you have concerns about can help our doctor diagnose potential eye problems.

If any eye conditions, diseases, or problems are found, you will be given treatment at that time or a later date. We ask patients to arrive 10 minutes early and to plan for a one-hour visit.
